The pre-filter section is a filter unit consisting of a pre-filter with backwash and an activated carbon filter. It was developed for use in regions with poor water quality. Its main purpose is to protect downstream softening and osmosis systems that could be damaged by impurities in the water.
- Pre-filter with backwash: This filter mechanism removes coarse dirt particles and impurities from the water. The backwash technology allows the filter to be cleaned regularly, ensuring a long service life and constant performance.
- Activated carbon filter: The activated carbon filter removes chemical impurities, chlorine and unpleasant odours that are often found in drinking water. This additionally purifies the water and improves its quality.
This pre-filter section efficiently protects your downstream systems by removing coarse particles, organic substances and chemicals.
